Karen Folgner

Karen is a Bay Area contemporary artist who is inspired by the abstract expressionist painters of San Francisco. The textures and colors of their works are indicative of the post WWII era, and their techniques strongly reinforce her fluid tendencies. Just as the world around us is ever-changing, her practice continues to evolve with each new piece she creates.
